English: The Mayor of Sandwell Julie Webb and Sandwell Metropolitan Council Community and Partnership Project Officer Bal Dhillon receives the Silver Award. Major General Richard Stanford (left), Colonel Richard Mayberry (right). 15 West Midlands based businesses have received a Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Silver Award in recognition of their outstanding support to Defence. The Award recognises employers who have signed the Armed Forces Covenant, employ at least one member of the Armed Forces Community and actively communicate a positive attitude of support for their employees who are members of the Reserve Forces. Major General Richard Stanford, General Officer Commanding Regional Command and Colonel Richard Mayberry, the Deputy Commander of 11 Signal and West Midlands Brigade presented the awards at the ceremony held at The Library of Birmingham.
